AWS Solutions Architect - Cloud Infrastructure

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned AWS Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team in Dubai, tasked with designing and scaling robust cloud infrastructures that drive business agility. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical bridge between our engineering teams and high-stakes client requirements, ensuring that our cloud ecosystem is secure, performant, and cost-effective. You will lead the architectural strategy for complex enterprise environments, directly influencing the reliability of services that impact thousands of end-users. By collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate intricate business challenges into elegant, scalable cloud solutions that position our organization at the forefront of digital transformation in the Middle East. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and deploy highly available, fault-tolerant systems on AWS to ensure seamless service delivery for our global client base. - Design secure network topologies using VPC and IAM policies to protect sensitive data and maintain strict compliance standards. - Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using Terraform and CloudFormation to reduce manual overhead and improve deployment consistency. - Optimize serverless workflows and containerized applications using Lambda and ECS to enhance operational efficiency and resource utilization. - Manage global traffic routing and domain availability via Route 53 to guarantee low-latency access for our international users. - Implement and maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles and ensure high-quality code delivery across development and production environments. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in architecting end-to-end AWS cloud solutions, backed by 6 - 15 years of progressive experience in infrastructure engineering. - Proven ability to design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud environments while maintaining a deep understanding of AWS best practices. - Strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform and CloudFormation, to manage complex multi-environment setups. - Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and executive leadership. - A collaborative mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment in Dubai, and capable of mentoring junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence. - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, complemented by relevant AWS Professional-level certifications.
