Job Description

Role Overview: We are seeking an Investment Analyst to support the investment activities across the full spectrum of asset classes unlisted/private opportunities, public market (listed equity) investments, and yield instruments such as REITs and InvITs. The role demands strong analytical rigour and the ability to translate complex business and macro dynamics into clear, actionable investment views for senior decision-makers. Key Responsibilities: - Review and evaluate investment opportunities across asset classes unlisted/private investments, listed equities, REITs, and InvITs conducting end-to-end due diligence. - For REITs and InvITs, assess underlying asset quality, cash flow stability, distribution yields, leverage, and structural considerations. - Analyse a wide range of industries and sectors, developing the ability to understand and clearly articulate each sector's structure and outlook. - Form independent views on sector growth potential and company-specific growth prospects. - Understand and explain sector and company dynamics, including the value chain, business model, competitive positioning, and pricing power. - Correlate company and sector analysis with the broader macroeconomic and global investment view. - Conduct peer comparison and benchmarking. - Prepare structured investment notes, memos, and presentations for circulation to senior management and family principals. Qualifications & Experience: - Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. - 25 years of relevant experience, with Big 4 experience (transaction advisory, valuations, or financial due diligence preferred). - Demonstrated ability to analyse businesses across multiple sectors and asset classes. Key Skills & Attributes: - Strong financial analysis, modelling, and valuation skills. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel financial modelling, scenario analysis, data handling. - Strong PowerPoint skills build clear, polished, management-ready presentations and investment decks. - Clarity in written and verbal communication; able to explain complex sectors and businesses simply. - High attention to detail and ability to work in a lean, fast-paced environment.
