Role Overview : As a Senior Data Engineer with an AI focus, you will spearhead the design and implementation of sophisticated data pipelines that bridge traditional data warehousing with modern Generative AI capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and product managers, to build the foundational infrastructure required for LLM-driven applications. Your work will directly influence how the business leverages data for predictive insights and automated decision-making, ensuring that our data architecture remains scalable, reliable, and ready for the next generation of AI integration. Key Responsibilities : - Architect and maintain high-performance data pipelines that ingest, transform, and serve data for both analytical and Generative AI use cases to ensure seamless model training and inference. - Design and manage complex orchestration workflows to automate data movement and transformation tasks, ensuring high availability and system reliability. - Implement advanced data modeling techniques using dbt or SQL Mesh to ensure data consistency, lineage, and high-quality outputs for downstream stakeholders. - Integrate LLM-based workflows into existing data ecosystems, enabling the business to derive actionable intelligence from unstructured data sources. - Establish rigorous data quality frameworks and monitoring protocols to maintain the integrity and accuracy of data assets across the enterprise. - Optimize cloud-based data warehousing solutions to reduce latency and improve cost-efficiency for large-scale data processing tasks. Required Skillset : - Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling robust data engineering pipelines using modern cloud computing platforms. - Proficiency in SQL and advanced data transformation tools such as dbt or SQL Mesh to manage complex data models effectively. - Proven ability to design and manage orchestration layers that handle complex dependencies in data workflows. - Practical experience in integrating Generative AI and LLM frameworks into production-grade data environments. - Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment. - Minimum of 8 to 9 years of professional experience in data engineering and related technical domains. - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
