Location: Shillong Job Title: Consultant KPMG - Consultant - Ease Of Doing Business - Shillong Role: Ease of Doing Business for EconomicGrowthPractice Education: MBA/PGDM Role Overview: KPMG India is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EoDB expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Ease of Doing Business, Regulatory Reforms, and Government Policies. Experience as a Module Lead or Consultant, along with significant experience working on projects for central or state government bodies or PSUs, is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Organize and execute assigned business projects on behalf of clients (recruiting, payroll, promotional campaigns, etc.) according to client requirements. - Meet with assigned clients when needed and perform an initial assessment of problematic situations. - Collect information about the client's business through various methods (shadowing, interviews, surveys, reading reports, etc.). - Formulate recommendations and solutions with attention to clients' wishes, capabilities, and limitations, forming concise reports. - Present findings and suggestions to clients with ample justification and practical advice. - Develop detailed business plans to drive small or radical changes. - Collaborate with government agencies, private sector entities, and multilateral clients to facilitate investment opportunities. - Assess competitive footprints and recommend innovative solutions based on emerging trends. - Network with internal and external stakeholders, industry professionals, and stay informed about sector performance in India and globally. - Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and other documentation to support investment promotion activities. Qualifications and Experience: - Postgraduate (MBA/PGDM) with at least 10 years of professional experience. - At least 5 years of experience in EoDB, Regulatory Reforms, and Government Policies. - Worked as a Consultant/Module Lead on EoDB assignments in the last 3 years with any state.
