Plant Head - Stainless Steel Manufacturing Location: NCR (Delhi / Gurgaon / Noida) Experience: 20-30 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: - We are seeking an accomplished Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for a large-scale Stainless Steel Manufacturing Plant. - The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in stainless steel manufacturing, plant leadership, operational excellence, production planning, quality assurance, maintenance, supply chain coordination, and cost optimization. - The Plant Head will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, improving productivity, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives while maintaining world-class manufacturing standards. Role & Responsibilities: - Lead complete plant operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are consistently achieved. - Develop and execute manufacturing strategies aligned with organizational growth and operational excellence goals. - Oversee stainless steel manufacturing processes including melting, casting, rolling, annealing, pickling, slitting, finishing, fabrication, and dispatch. - Drive productivity improvements, cost optimization, yield enhancement, and waste reduction initiatives. - Lead production planning, capacity utilization, inventory management, and resource allocation. - Ensure implementation of robust quality management systems and adherence to customer specifications. - Manage preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and plant reliability. - Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. - Ensure compliance with EHS standards, statutory regulations, environmental norms, and safety policies. - Monitor plant KPIs such as OEE, production efficiency, yield, rejection rates, energy consumption, and manufacturing costs. - Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, finance, engineering, sales, and HR teams for seamless business operations. - Manage plant budgets, CAPEX, OPEX, and operational cost control. - Lead workforce planning, succession planning, employee engagement, and leadership development. - Drive digital transformation, automation, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve operational efficiency. Preferred Candidate Profile: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline. - MBA in Operations or Manufacturing Management is preferred. - 20-30 years of experience in Stainless Steel, Steel, Metal Processing, or Heavy Engineering industries. - Proven experience leading large-scale manufacturing plants with complete operational responsibility. - Strong understanding of stainless steel manufacturing processes, production technologies, and quality systems. - Demonstrated success in driving operational excellence, productivity improvement, and cost optimization. - Experience implementing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and automation initiatives. - Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team development capabilities. - Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and decision-making skills.
