Software Architect

About the Role We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to lead and support safety engineering activities across the product development lifecycle, with a strong focus on Occupant Safety Systems (OSS - Air Bags), safety analysis, and customer-facing project execution. In this role, you will work closely with OEM customers, project teams, and cross-functional engineering stakeholders to drive ISO 26262-compliant safety activities, develop key safety work products, and support successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Perform requirements engineering, including development and review of requirements. Develop and review High-Level Design (HLD). Review Low-Level Design (LLD). Review system and software test specifications. Communicate software architecture, design decisions, and updates to all relevant stakeholders. Analyze potential non-compliance with dependability requirements. Determine, implement, and verify compliance with dependability requirements. Participate in CCR (Change/Customer Change Request) estimation along with the Project Manager (PM). Moderate Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and identify impacted software components and test scope. Mentor Software Leads, Software Engineers, and Test Teams to meet project and future program needs. Define, implement, and verify dependability and safety-related software requirements. Ensure compliance with automotive software quality processes and standards. Support software architecture reviews with respect to reliability, maintainability, and robustness.
