Bilgewater Group is a Chicago-based diversified services company founded in 2003. We operate across two core divisions: food service and care.
Our food service division manages a network of quick-service and counter-service locations across the greater Chicagoland area, serving thousands of customers every day at high-traffic venues, including commercial districts, transit hubs, and retail centers.
ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Workforce Coordinator to support staffing coordination and day-to-day workforce operations. You will help coordinate schedules, track staffing needs, communicate with teams, and support coverage across the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Coordinate employee schedules and staffing requests Monitor staffing needs and help identify coverage gaps Communicate schedule updates and staffing information to employees and managers Maintain accurate workforce and scheduling records Track attendance, availability, and schedule changes Follow up on staffing requests and operational needs Support managers with routine workforce coordination WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Previous experience in workforce coordination, scheduling, operations, administration, or a similar role Strong organization and attention to detail Good communication and follow-up skills Ability to manage changing priorities and scheduling needs Comfortable working with spreadsheets and scheduling systems Strong problem-solving and coordination skills Comfortable working independently in a remote environment Reliable internet connection and workspace Legally authorized to work in the United States NICE TO HAVE Previous workforce management or scheduling experience Familiarity with workforce management or scheduling software Experience coordinating employees across multiple locations or teams Background in food service, hospitality, retail, care, or other multi-location businesses COMPENSATION $45,000–$60,000 per year , depending on experience and qualifications.
