Purchasing Administrative Assistant

Are you an organised administrator looking to develop your career within purchasing, supply chain or operations? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established global manufacturer where you'll play a key role in supporting a busy Purchasing team while gaining exposure to procurement, logistics and material planning activities.
Your New Role
As a Purchasing Administrative Assistant, you will provide vital support to the Purchasing and Operations teams, helping to ensure materials and services are procured efficiently and delivered on time.
Key responsibilities include:
• Processing purchase orders and maintaining supplier records
• Tracking supplier orders and ensuring timely deliveries
• Producing and maintaining departmental reports
• Managing internal purchasing databases and documentation
• Processing packing lists for ocean shipments
• Liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Supporting logistics, materials planning and wider operational activities
• Providing general administrative support across the Operations function
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to develop a long-term career within purchasing, supply chain or manufacturing operations.
What You'll Need
We're looking for someone who has:
• Previous administration experience
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Experience within purchasing, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain or operations would be advantageous
