Senior Manager/Head - Production Planning & Control - Home Textile/Rugs/Carpets Manufacturing

Title: Head / Senior Manager - Production Planning & Control (PPC) - Home Textile / Rugs / Carpets Manufacturing Location: Jaipur The Individual will Lead Production Planning & Control and Materials Purchase for the Home Textile / Rugs & Carpets Manufacturing Unit. Planning: - Prepare order-wise production plans based on confirmed customer orders, delivery commitments, and available manufacturing capacity across weekly and monthly planning horizons. - Coordinate with Dyeing, Weaving, Finishing, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure realistic schedules and uninterrupted material flow. - Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) across production stages; identify bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions to protect shipment timelines. - Prepare and circulate planning MIS reports highlighting lead indicators for operational risks and delivery performance. Procurement & Vendor Management: - Plan and execute procurement of wool, wool blends, yarns, dyes, chemicals, packing materials and items. - Develop and manage approved supplier base ensuring quality, consistency, compliance, and cost competitiveness. - Track On-time material availability (%), Inventory turnover ratio, Raw material cost variance - Negotiate prices, payment terms, MOQs, and delivery schedules. - Align procurement plans with production schedules to prevent: 1. Loom stoppages 2. Excess inventory 3. Urgent purchasing premiums Educational Qualification / Work Experience & Skills: - PG/Graduate in Textiles, Supply Chain, Operations, or BE / B.Tech with 8+ years of experience in Production planning, Material Requirement Planning(MRP), and inventory management - Working knowledge of wool & premium wool blend raw materials, weaving processes, yarn consumption, dyeing, washing & finishing (added advantage) - Vendor negotiation and sourcing skills. - Data-driven decision making ability and ERP exposure. - Good and assertive at Coordination, problem-solving, and execution skills.
