Director - Contract Compliance - Real Estate/Construction

: - Lead the contract compliance function across multiple projects and ensure adherence to contractual obligations. - Review and monitor key contract terms, obligations, deliverables, notices, milestones, and compliance requirements. - Establish and implement contract governance frameworks, processes, and controls. - Identify contractual risks and ensure timely mitigation and escalation of potential exposures. - Oversee management of variations, claims, extensions of time, notices, disputes, and contractual correspondence. - Ensure timely submission and tracking of contractual notices, approvals, certifications, and other obligations. - Review contractor and consultant compliance against agreed contractual terms and project requirements. - Work closely with Project, Commercial, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Development teams to resolve contractual issues. - Monitor contractual performance, deviations, and potential liabilities across projects. - Support project teams in interpreting contract clauses and implementing appropriate contractual actions. - Review and advise on EPC, PMC, consultancy, construction, subcontract, and other project-related agreements. - Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all contractual decisions and communications. - Lead contract compliance audits and identify gaps requiring corrective action. - Develop dashboards and regular reports covering contractual risks, claims, variations, compliance status, and key exposures. - Provide strategic contractual advice to senior management and project leadership. - Lead and mentor the contracts and compliance team.
