Quality Assurance Test Manager - Trade Finance - Banking

Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned QA Test Manager to spearhead quality engineering initiatives within a premier GCC banking institution in Dubai. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the end-to-end testing lifecycle for complex Trade Finance platforms, ensuring that our digital banking solutions meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. You will collaborate closely with product owners, business analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams to bridge the gap between technical execution and business requirements. By driving a robust quality strategy, you will directly influence the seamless delivery of trade services, ensuring that our clients experience secure, efficient, and uninterrupted financial operations in a highly competitive market. Key Responsibilities: - Define and implement comprehensive QA strategies for Trade Finance applications to ensure full alignment with banking regulatory standards and business objectives. - Lead and mentor high-performing testing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence across the QE lifecycle. - Oversee the design and execution of complex test scenarios for trade instruments, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and Supply Chain Finance, to mitigate operational risks. - Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable test plans, ensuring that all deliverables meet the rigorous demands of the GCC banking sector. - Drive the adoption of advanced automation frameworks to accelerate release cycles and improve the overall stability of the banking ecosystem. - Manage vendor relationships and resource allocation to optimize testing efficiency and maintain cost-effective delivery models. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in managing large-scale QA operations within the Trade Finance domain, with a deep understanding of banking workflows and financial messaging standards. - Proven ability to design and scale Automation Testing frameworks that significantly reduce manual effort and enhance regression coverage. - Strong leadership capabilities to influence senior stakeholders and manage diverse, multi-cultural teams in a high-pressure, on-site banking environment in Dubai. - Exceptional analytical skills to identify systemic quality gaps and implement proactive solutions that safeguard the integrity of banking platforms. - Clear and persuasive communication style, essential for articulating technical quality metrics to non-technical business leaders and project sponsors. - A minimum of 12 - 17 years of professional experience in quality assurance, preferably within the banking or financial services sector. - A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by relevant professional certifications in software testing or project management.
