Location: Dubai / Singapore Employment Type: Contract / Contract-to-Hire Experience: 8 - 12 years overall experience with strong hands-on Anaplan experience Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Anaplan Solution Architect to lead the design, architecture, and implementation of scalable Anaplan solutions across enterprise planning functions. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, Model Builders, integration teams, and IT to translate business requirements into efficient and scalable Anaplan solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Anaplan Model Building with Level 3/ solution architecture, ALM, integrations, model optimization, and planning processes. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end Anaplan solution architecture and design for complex planning requirements. - Translate business requirements into scalable Anaplan models and solution designs. - Design model structures including modules, lists, hierarchies, calculations, data flows, and UX. - Apply Anaplan best practices such as PLANS, DISCO, modular design, and performance optimization. - Lead and oversee Level 3 model building and provide technical guidance to Model Builders. - Design and manage Data Hub and spoke model architecture where applicable. - Define and manage Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), deployment, and release processes. - Design integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, data warehouses, and other applications. - Work with APIs, Anaplan Connect, CloudWorks, or other integration technologies as required. - Identify and resolve model performance, scalability, sparsity, and calculation issues. - Establish model development, naming, documentation, security, and governance standards. - Lead solution design workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business and technical stakeholders. - Work closely with Finance, FP&A, Supply Chain, Sales, HR, and other business functions to deliver planning solutions. - Support UAT, deployment, production support, and hypercare activities. - Review existing Anaplan models and recommend improvements and optimization. - Prepare solution architecture documents, design specifications, integration documentation, and technical guidelines. - Mentor and guide Anaplan Model Builders and junior consultants. - Communicate project progress, technical risks, dependencies, and recommendations to stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience: - 8 - 12 years of overall IT/consulting experience with strong hands-on experience in Anaplan. - Proven experience as an Anaplan Solution Architect / Technical Lead / Senior Model Builder. - Strong hands-on Level 3 Model Building experience. - Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Anaplan solutions. - Strong knowledge of Anaplan ALM, UX, Data Hub, integrations, and model optimization. - Strong understanding of PLANS and DISCO methodologies. - Experience with Anaplan Connect, APIs, CloudWorks, or integration/middleware technologies. - Experience integrating Anaplan with ERP, CRM, HR, BI, and data platforms. - Strong understanding of planning processes such as FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, sales planning, or supply chain planning. - Experience with model performance tuning, sparsity management, and scalable architecture. - Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. - Ability to lead solution design discussions and provide technical leadership. Preferred: - Anaplan Certified Solution Architect / Certified Model Builder. - Experience working in an Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE). - Experience with Oracle, SAP, Workday, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar enterprise platforms. - Experience in Agile delivery environments. - Experience working with global clients and distributed teams.
