Job Description
Business Analyst | Brussels | Hybrid
I am currently looking for a Business Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme based in Brussels.
This is a long-term freelance opportunity, initially running until the end of the year with a strong possibility of extension into 2027. The role requires a minimum of 3 days per week onsite in Brussels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse and document business requirements from a variety of stakeholders
• Facilitate workshops to gather functional and non-functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear specifications for technical teams
• Map and optimise business processes, including AS-IS and TO-BE models
• Support programme delivery, roadmap planning, risk management and KPI tracking
• Collaborate closely with business, IT, data teams and external partners
• Assist with user testing, solution validation and change management activities
• Produce and maintain high-quality documentation, user stories, process maps and test cases
Required Experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Experience working within Agile environments (Scrum and/or SAFe)
• Strong process modelling skills using BPMN, UML or similar methodologies
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro or Lucidchart
• Knowledge of business process improvement approaches such as Lean or Six Sigma
• Familiarity with project delivery methodologies including Prince2 or PMBOK
• Experience within financial services is advantageous
Languages:
• Fluent Dutch and French are mandatory
• Professional English is preferred
