Job Description

THE TEAM: The Real Estate Paralegal will play a key role at Unison. We seek a real estate professional with an eye for detail who is experienced in multi-jurisdictional practice and will accelerate transactions to closing. Reporting to the Managing Director, Legal, the paralegal will work remotely full-time from their home office. THE JOB:

Responsibilities

will include, but are not limited to: Managing a pipeline of deals across the United States and updating closing checklists and trackers. Preparing documents and coordinating the execution of closing packages. Conducting due diligence, including reviewing leases, title commitments, site inspections, plats, and surveys.

Assisting with retrieval of required documentation for real estate transactions. Drafting and reviewing legal descriptions. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 4-8 years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, including at mid to large-sized law firm, is required. Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience with solar/wind ground leases and/or wireless leases is a plus. Fluent with Office, Sharepoint, Salesforce, GIS and deed plotting software, and equipped to work remotely. Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship.
