Value Stream Process Architecture lead Description - Job Summary Will be responsible for driving Level 2/3/4+ Value Stream process architecture validation and sign-off, process maturity assessments for the critical processes identified by the functional GPOs, and offering consultancy on process design methodologies, process ownership principles, and process library guidelines. It will be responsible for Source to Pay, and Plan to Product, will also support Design to Operate once a GPO lead is identified. Responsibilities • Manages and leads initiatives involving multiple functions and project teams to drive process improvement for a product or service offering. • Consults with business leaders to identify relevant internal, client and external processes for optimization; leads review of audit and assessment results to identify trends and issues, perform root-cause analysis, develop recommendations for resolution and track effectiveness of remedies. • Analyzes the key drivers and metrics vs historical performance, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans and communicates results to leadership for decision support, plan reviews and operational reviews. • Develops and directs development of schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, and other support requirements for process improvement initiatives. • Manages activities of supporting project teams and internal partners; ensures progress against established plan and makes determinations based on analysis of business information to alter or update schedule and resource allocation to meet product requirements and schedules. • Communicates initiative progress, escalations, and issue analysis to stakeholders; collaborates with management and internal development, manufacturing and service delivery partners to implement changes to resolve escalated issues and produce solutions. • Develops enhancements, modifications, and corrections to existing testing methodologies and processes to ensure continuous improvement to quality assurance standards. • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the organization. • Contributes to the development of performance standards, measures metrics in order to ensure that organization standards are being applied consistently and any gaps are identified for performance improvement. • Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members and contributes to their growth within the organization. Education & Experience Recommended • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Quality Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence. • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in project management, quality, lean six sigma, or a related field.
