SAP EWM/WM Functional Consultant/Lead

Job Summary : We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant / Lead with 10+ years of SAP consulting experience and strong expertise in SAP WM/EWM, LE, MM, and PP. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering end-to-end SAP implementations, including S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support engagements. The role requires strong functional expertise combined with excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills. Key Responsibilities : - Lead end-to-end functional solution delivery across SAP implementations and transformation projects. - Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions. - Conduct business process mapping, requirement-gathering workshops, and fit-gap analysis. - Design, configure, test, and implement SAP solutions. - Prepare Functional Specifications (FS) and coordinate with ABAP/development teams for custom developments. - Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and provide appropriate SAP solutions. - Conduct solution demonstrations and support UAT activities. - Coordinate cutover activities and provide go-live and post-go-live support. - Manage integration requirements across SAP modules and third-party systems. - Lead functional teams, mentor consultants, and ensure quality and timely delivery. - Collaborate with technical teams on interfaces, APIs, Fiori, ABAP developments, and other technical components. - Work effectively within both Agile and Waterfall project environments. Required Technical & Functional Skills : - 10+ years of SAP consulting experience with strong functional solution delivery experience. - Strong expertise in SAP WM/EWM, LE, MM, and PP. - Minimum 4 - 5 full lifecycle SAP implementation projects. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support projects. - Strong knowledge of business process mapping, fit-gap analysis, solution design, SAP configuration, requirement gathering, functional specifications, testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live support. - Strong integration experience with MM, SD, PP, FI/CO, and EWM/WM. - Experience in functional team leadership and consultant mentoring. - Working knowledge of ABAP, interfaces, Fiori, APIs, and SAP technical concepts is preferred. - Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Critical Client-Facing Requirement : Candidates with 3 - 4+ years of direct experience working with Western clients will be strongly preferred. The candidate should demonstrate practical experience in : - Conducting client calls and verbal meetings. - Professional email communication with international clients. - Using project management and collaboration tools. - Direct client coordination. - Requirement discussions and clarification. - Stakeholder management. - Solution presentations and demonstrations. - Managing client expectations and project communication. Preferred Candidate Profile : The ideal candidate will be : - A strong SAP functional consultant with deep WM/EWM expertise. - Comfortable working directly with international stakeholders. - Strong in verbal and written communication. - Experienced in leading workshops and requirement discussions. - Capable of independently managing functional deliverables. - Comfortable coordinating with business, functional, and technical teams. - Experienced in leading teams and driving end-to-end SAP delivery. - Able to work effectively in a global project environment.
