Fairway Home Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented Post-Closing Shipping Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will review, audit, and deliver completed loan packages to investors while ensuring all documentation meets investor requirements and delivery guidelines.

The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in mortgage post-closing processes.

What You'll Do

Audit loan files for completeness, accuracy, and compliance using established investor checklists and delivery requirements. Review disclosures, underwriting documents, closing packages, and Housing Finance Agency (HFA) documentation.

Prepare and deliver loan files and image packages required for investor purchase, including pre-purchase and post-purchase submissions. Coordinate check requests and verify payments related to compliance, escrow, MCC, and other applicable requirements.

Work with internal teams and external partners to obtain additional documentation needed to satisfy investor and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate updates, notes, and tracking information in Encompass and other applicable systems.

Monitor loan delivery timelines, lock expiration dates, and service level expectations to ensure deadlines are met. Provide timely and professional support through phone, email, and instant messaging. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and department initiatives.

Assist with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For Minimum of 3 years of related mortgage industry experience. At least 1 year of post-closing experience. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
