Job Description

Job Summary: The Clinical Business Analyst Business Intelligence plays a critical role in supporting large-scale clinical information system implementations and digital health transformation initiatives within Canadian healthcare environments. This position involves gathering and translating complex clinical, operational, and business requirements into actionable business intelligence solutions such as dashboards, reporting tools, and analytics frameworks to drive healthcare modernization and performance improvement. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications: • University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or equivalent combination of education and BI experience. • Minimum 10 years of progressive Canadian experience in hospital or digital health environments supporting large-scale clinical information systems or digital health transformation programs. • At least 8 years of expertise in translating clinical, operational, and business needs into BI requirements, including reporting specifications and KPI definitions. Preferred Skills & Certifications: • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills with 8+ years of experience communicating complex topics to diverse healthcare stakeholders. • Strong organizational skills with 8+ years of experience documenting decisions, monitoring progress, and managing risks. • Demonstrated ability to achieve consensus across multiple organizations or stakeholder groups within Canadian healthcare (6+ years). • Experience analyzing and designing clinical workflows and future-state processes enabled by acute care clinical information systems (8+ years). • Fluency in both French and English, with strong communication and facilitation skills preferred. Special Considerations: • Must be able to work in complex Canadian healthcare environments involving multiple stakeholders and programs. • Role may require strong collaboration and consensus-building skills to influence healthcare transformation initiatives. Scheduling: • Standard business hours are assumed; no specific shift patterns or on-call requirements indicated.
