Job Description
Job Summary:
The Business Analyst Business Intelligence plays a critical role in healthcare transformation by supporting large-scale clinical information system implementations and digital health initiatives. This position involves translating complex clinical, operational, and business needs into actionable business intelligence requirements, including reporting, analytics, and dashboard development to enhance healthcare delivery and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Support digital health transformation programs and provincial/regional health system modernization initiatives.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings and focus groups with diverse stakeholders across organizations.
• Develop meeting agendas, manage follow-ups, and track action items to ensure progress and alignment.
• Document decisions, synthesize discussions, and maintain logs and registers to monitor project progress and risks.
• Facilitate consensus-building on standardized workflows, terminology, performance measures, and reporting requirements.
• Analyze current-state clinical and operational workflows and assist in designing future-state processes enabled by clinical information systems and digital technologies.
• Prepare and deliver presentations and briefings to executives, clinicians, and technology teams to foster collaboration and influence change. Required Skills & Certifications:
• University degree in Business Administration, Health Informatics, Information Technology, Health Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience in healthcare transformation or digital health.
• 10+ years of progressive Canadian experience in hospital or digital health environments supporting clinical information system implementations or health system modernization.
• 8+ years of expertise in translating clinical and business needs into business intelligence requirements including reporting and analytics.
• Strong organizational skills for documentation, progress monitoring, and risk identification.
• Proven ability to achieve consensus across multiple organizations and stakeholder groups in complex healthcare settings. Preferred Skills & Certifications:
• 6+ years experience planning and coordinating multi-stakeholder meetings and governance activities.
• 8+ years of exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate and facilitate complex healthcare topics.
• Experience in synthesizing discussions and maintaining detailed documentation and logs.
• Strong facilitation and communication skills in both French and English. Special Considerations:
• Must be able to work effectively with diverse healthcare stakeholders including executives, clinicians, and technology teams.
• Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple organizations and programs.
• Fluency in French and English is strongly preferred to support bilingual communication needs. Scheduling:
• Standard full-time work schedule with potential requirements for coordination across multiple time zones and stakeholder availability.
