General Manager - Projects (EPC) Location: Mumbai | Function: Engineering, Procurement & Construction About the Role: Flipspaces is looking for a seasoned General Manager - Projects (EPC) to lead its EPC business with complete ownership of P&L, project execution, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. This role requires a strategic leader capable of delivering large-scale turnkey projects while driving profitability, operational efficiency, and business growth across India. Key Responsibilities: - Own the P&L for the EPC business, including revenue, margins, cash flow, and profitability. - Lead end-to-end execution of multiple EPC projects - from design coordination and procurement through construction, commissioning, and handover. - Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. - Drive commercial excellence through cost optimisation, value engineering, contract management, and risk mitigation. - Build and strengthen relationships with clients, consultants, developers, contractors, and key stakeholders. - Develop project governance frameworks, SOPs, KPIs, and performance dashboards to drive operational excellence. - Lead, mentor, and build high-performing multidisciplinary project teams. - Partner with the Business Development team to support bid strategy, project acquisition, and business expansion. Preferred Experience: - 12 - 20 years of leadership experience in EPC, Design & Build, or Infrastructure projects. - Mandatory experience with P&L ownership and managing large project portfolios. - Strong background in one or more of the following sectors: 1. Industrial & Manufacturing 2. Warehousing & Logistics 3. Healthcare 4. Hospitality 5. Commercial / Corporate Real Estate 6. Data Centres / Institutional Projects - Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across geographies. Qualifications: - B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Mandatory) from Top Tier colleges. - MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
