Payroll Administrator

• Accounting • Accountant - Payroll • Brisbane • Contract or Temp • 3-month contract with potential for extension • Weekly payroll using MYOB during a system transition • Immediate start with a busy civil construction business We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a busy civil construction business on an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role will primarily focus on processing weekly payroll through MYOB, with the business currently transitioning to a new payroll system. You’ll play an important role in supporting the transition and ensuring payroll continues to run smoothly during the implementation period. The Role: • Process weekly payroll accurately and efficiently through MYOB • Assist with payroll during a new system implementation and transition period • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure employees are paid correctly and on time • Work closely with the existing payroll/finance team to ensure a smooth process • Provide additional payroll support as required About You: • Several years’ experience in a payroll-focused role • Strong hands-on experience using MYOB • Construction industry/payroll experience highly regarded • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Comfortable working independently and stepping into a role quickly • Available to commence ASAP This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator looking for an immediate contract role with the potential to continue longer term.
