Job Description
Overview Change Business Partner - MRP Location: US Remote with travels Employment: 12 month project based role Role Overview: The Change Business Partner will lead the people-side implementation of strategic transformation across manufacturing operations.
This includes driving the adoption of new systems, processes, and behaviours that enhance efficiency, safety, and growth.
A key focus will be supporting the deployment and behavioural integration of standard costing across manufacturing sites, ensuring consistency in cost control, performance tracking, and margin visibility.
The role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing, ERP (notably Microsoft D365), and change facilitation to support both people and site-level transitions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities: Lead and support change initiatives linked to process improvements and ERP projects, with a particular focus on standard costing. Partner with finance, operations, and systems teams to make sure costing methods are understood, applied consistently, and support effective cost control.
Help operational leaders move from legacy costing approaches to standardised cost models, explaining the impact on reporting, performance measurement, and profitability.
Work with local teams to build understanding of how standard costs are created and maintained, including bill of materials (BOM) accuracy, labour and machine rates, and overhead allocation.
Deliver training and capability-building activities that strengthen cost awareness and accountability across production and planning teams. Act as the link between Global Process Owners, finance teams, and manufacturing sites, turning costing policy into practical day-to-day processes within D365.
Support the accuracy and integrity of costing data by identifying gaps in processes, systems, and reporting, and helping teams put the right controls in place. Drive adoption of new ways of working, making sure standard costing becomes embedded in decision-making rathe
