About Our Client Our client is a Canadian company renowned for manufacturing complex solutions, offering technical products to a demanding clientele both nationally and internationally. As part of its expansion, the company is seeking a Sales Director for Eastern Canada to manage its team based in the province. The Role Reporting to the General Management, you will be responsible for implementing the company's sales strategy and managing a technical sales team. You will play a key role in revenue growth, new market development, and customer retention. Main Responsibilities • Develop and implement the sales strategy in line with the company's growth objectives • Recruit, coach, and motivate a sales team composed of technical profiles • Establish sales targets, monitor performance indicators, and adjust strategies accordingly • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners • Collaborate closely with the engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure a thorough understanding of the technical solutions offered • Identify new business opportunities and represent the company at industry events • Prepare performance reports and present the results to the Management Desired Profile • Training in civil engineering (or a related field) — a considerable asset for understanding the technical challenges of projects and clients • Significant experience in managing a sales team with a technical component • Excellent leadership, team mobilization, and performance management skills • Strong business development and negotiation skills • Functional bilingualism (French/English), an asset depending on the clientele served • Valid driver's license and availability for occasional travel What our client offers • Competitive compensation including a performance-based variable component • Comprehensive benefits package • Stimulating work environment within a company in growth • Position based in Montreal, with flexibility according to business needs
