Senior Lead Consultant - Network Security

Notice Period : 30 - 60 days Shift : BC Shift (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM IST) Education : Full-time BE/B.Tech Role Overview : As a Senior Lead Consultant, you must have minimum 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure and enterprise networking, with at least 2 years in technical consulting, solution architecture, and your primary responsibility is end-to-end network solutioning, technical consulting for pre-sales and customer engagements. Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals, operational standards, and industry best practices. Manage high-priority technical escalations and critical customer issues. Engage with customer leadership teams on strategic infrastructure discussions to identify the gaps and improvements. Key Responsibilities : Technical Leadership : - Lead end-to-end network solution design and consulting engagements for customers. - Analyze customer business and technical requirements to recommend scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. - Develop High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD). - Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals, operational standards, and industry best practices. - Provide guidance on network transformation, modernization, and optimization initiatives. - Technical Consultation, POCs for internal or customer solution requirement. - Support capability development within the networking practice. - Provide architectural guidance across hybrid and multi-vendor environments. - Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend suitable adoption strategies. Customer Interaction : - Act as the primary technical consultant and trusted advisor for customers. - Customer engagements like workshops, discovery sessions, architecture reviews, and technical presentations. - Engage with customer leadership teams on strategic infrastructure discussions to identify the gaps and improvements. - Manage high-priority technical escalations and critical customer issues. Presales & Business Enablement : - Support pre-sales activities including Technical solutioning, RFP/RFI responses, proposal preparation, technical estimations, and solution presentations. - Collaborate with sales and account teams to identify business opportunities. - Assist in project scope definition and WBS preparation. Project & Delivery Leadership : - Provide technical leadership during implementation and migration activities. - Work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery. - Review project deliverables and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Identify project risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Skills and Competencies : Must-Have : - Hands on experience in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise networking solutions across LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Wireless, Data Center, and Cloud environments. - Strong understanding of secure network architectures, including VPN, Network Access Control (NAC), Load Balancing, and hybrid connectivity. - Proven expertise in network monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and cross-technology integration. - Working experience managing customer, stakeholder relationships and reporting. - Must have prior experience of onsite-offshore delivery model and should have directly worked with US/European customers and colleagues. Preferred Vendor Experience : - Palo Alto Networks. - Cisco Systems. - Juniper Networks. - Fortinet. - Arista Networks. Good to Have : - Good understanding of other infrastructure platforms like Virtualization, Monitoring, Cloud, Security. - Relevant industry certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, Azure, or AWS are preferred. - Managing IT Infrastructure projects with global teams and remote teams will be a strong plus. Certifications : - ITIL, MCSE, Azure/AWS, VCP, etc.
