Unit Head/Plant Head - Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes

We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients, a leading player in the steel manufacturing industry, seeking an experienced Unit Head / Plant Head to lead end-to-end manufacturing operations for its Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes business. Experience: 15+ Years Salary: Hike on current CTC Location: Kosi Kalan [Uttar Pradesh] The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in both Seamless and Welded Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes manufacturing and possess strong leadership capabilities to drive operational excellence, productivity, quality, safety, and profitability. Job Description: Key Responsibilities: - Lead complete plant operations, including Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and EHS. - Drive manufacturing excellence for Seamless and Welded Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes. - Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and production capacity. - Manage production planning and delivery schedules to meet customer commitments. - Ensure adherence to quality standards, customer specifications, and industry regulations. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce manufacturing costs, and minimize wastage. - Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment availability. - Ensure compliance with all statutory, environmental, and safety requirements. - Manage plant budgets, operational costs, inventory, and overall profitability. - Build, mentor, and lead high-performing cross-functional teams. Required Qualifications: - B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering. - 15+ years of experience in the Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes industry. - Mandatory experience in both Seamless and Welded pipe manufacturing. - Strong exposure to manufacturing using Stainless Steel and/or Carbon Steel as raw materials. - Proven experience in leading an entire manufacturing unit or large-scale production facility. - Strong understanding of production planning, quality systems, maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma, and operational excellence.
