Description To perform the following in a timely, effective and safe manner GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY • Ensure that NSICT/NSIGT health, safety and environmental policies and procedures are observed, as well as all relevant safety legislation and provisions of the relevant Government health, safety and environment Acts. • Ensure the NSICT/NSIGT Security policy and procedures are observed. • Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of business objectives. To undertake all duties and responsibilities in accordance with NSICT policies and procedures. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY • To follow the instruction given by Executive/ Sr. Executive /Supervisor/Manager. • To fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools • To set up, operate and maintain welding equipment • To carried out Maintenance Activity. • To Follow the SOP and Safety rules. • Undertake all given tasks and responsibilities as per the scope of the contract and as instructed by UDR. • To ensure he possess valid safety training card and port entry pass • To implements the practices to maintain workshop in a manner that beneficially reduces water use and waste. • To improve energy efficiency of workshop equipment by effective using. • To collect welding /cutting metal waste in dedicated assign bin for further disposal. • Increase awareness of environmental protection practices and pollution prevention/waste minimization opportunities.
