• Teaching Life Sciences and Natural Sciences and Technology and the methodology in the Intermediate Phase, including Life Sciences laboratory work and experiments. • Curriculum development and development of other learning materials. • Supervising students on teaching practice. • Research and involvement in research activities (publications and supervision). • Academic administration, development, and administration. • Assessment and quality assurance. • Learning support for and in multilingual classrooms. • Mentoring and support of students (and staff). • Teamwork and collaboration. • Meticulous planning and organizing skills/Time Management. • Networking with schools and other networks. • Ability to align yourself to hybrid teaching and learning models (face-to-face and on-line learning). • Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department.
