FP&A & Revenue Accounting Analyst Location: Pune Experience: 5–10 Years Notice Period: Immediate to 45 Days Work Mode: Pune / Local candidates preferred Role Overview We are looking for a proactive and analytical FP&A & Revenue Accounting Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, revenue accounting, and business analysis. The role involves partnering with finance, sales, operations, and business stakeholders to provide financial insights, support strategic decision-making, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and drive process improvements. Must-Have Skills • Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) • Strong understanding of: • Budgeting • Forecasting • Financial analysis • Revenue recognition • Financial reporting • Hands-on experience with SAP – mandatory • Strong knowledge of IFRS and revenue accounting practices • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling • Experience in revenue close, reconciliations, and financial reporting • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent business partnering and stakeholder management skills • Excellent verbal and written communication • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Nice-to-Have Skills • CA / CMA / ICWA / MBA (Finance) – qualified or semi-qualified • Experience in IT services, consulting, or project-based business environments • Experience with revenue accounting in a services environment • Exposure to financial reporting automation and process improvement • Experience developing management dashboards and financial reports • Strong understanding of KPI tracking and business performance analysis • Experience with automation initiatives and reporting enhancements Key ResponsibilitiesFP&A and Financial Planning • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models • Analyze financial performance and identify key variances • Provide actionable recommendations based on financial analysis • Track and monitor KPIs, business performance metrics, and revenue trends • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning and reporting activities • Provide financial insights to support business and commercial decisions Revenue Accounting • Manage and support revenue recognition and revenue close activities • Ensure revenue is recognized accurately in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies • Review revenue reports, reconciliations, and financial statements • Identify and resolve revenue-related discrepancies • Ensure completeness and accuracy of revenue accounting activities Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Business teams • Provide financial insights to support commercial and strategic decisions • Translate complex financial data into clear and actionable business insights • Communicate financial performance and recommendations to stakeholders Compliance & Audit • Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and corporate governance requirements • Support internal and external audits • Prepare required financial documentation, reports, and analysis for audit purposes Process Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve FP&A and revenue accounting processes • Drive automation and reporting enhancements • Improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of financial reporting processes Candidate Profile • Experience: 5–10 years overall; relevant experience in FP&A, Revenue Accounting, Corporate Finance, or related functions • Strong hands-on experience in FP&A and Financial Planning • Strong knowledge of Revenue Accounting and IFRS • SAP experience is mandatory • Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • Strong analytical and business partnering capabilities • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment • Job stability: Minimum 2 years in an organization preferred • Notice Period: Immediate to 45 Days • Location: Pune candidates preferred Interview Process 2 Technical Rounds → Client Round → HR Round
