As a practitioner within Deloitte's Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) practice, you will be part of a collaborative, high-performing team focused on enabling technology-driven business transformation. Your work will contribute to complex, high-impact initiatives that support clients and advance the practice, with opportunities to grow your leadership, influence, and areas of specialization over time. In this role, you will play a key part in leading engagement teams and working closely with clients to understand their business objectives, challenges, and technology environments. You will conduct in-depth analyses of client data, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for modernization, efficiency, and innovation. Through facilitating strategic discussions with client stakeholders and Deloitte leadership, you will translate complex business requirements into actionable, pragmatic technology strategies. By leveraging emerging technology trends such as cloud adoption, digital transformation, and advanced analytics, you will help clients navigate change and stay competitive in an evolving landscape. You will guide team members in developing high-quality deliverables, including executive-level presentations and detailed reports, ensuring recommendations are data-driven, practical, and aligned with industry best practices. Beyond client delivery, you will contribute to practice development initiatives, mentor junior colleagues, support business development efforts, and help shape the team's culture. This role offers opportunities to deepen industry expertise, specialize in areas of interest, and continue developing both technical and leadership capabilities. The Ottawa based TS&T team works closely with federal departments on enterprise-level initiatives spanning technology modernization, governance, and service delivery transformation. This role is well-suited for individuals who understand the realities of the public sector --including policy considerations, stakeholder coordination, and governance -- and are motivated to drive tangible outcomes through structured, delivery-focused work. While the Ottawa team is primarily focused on public sector advisory, there are opportunities to grow and explore other areas across the broader TS&T practice. Across TS&T, teams work at the intersection of business and technology, partnering with senior leaders to maximize value from IT investments, improve organizational performance, and enable more agile and productive organizations. Deloitte's Technology Strategy & Transformation (TS&T) practice in Ottawa partners closely with the Government of Canada to support a wide range of initiatives--from focused, short - term advisory engagements to large - scale, mission - critical transformation efforts that shape how programs and services are delivered nationwide. Enough about us, let's talk about you Qualifications: • Eligible to obtain and maintain federal-level Reliability Security Clearance (req. minimum of five years of residency in Canada). • Located in the National Capital Region (Ottawa-Gatineau), with the ability towork on-siteor in a hybrid model as required. Relevant skills: • 2 to 7 years of experience in consulting, business analysis, or technology strategy, or 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology management, strategy, or business analysis, with a strong understanding of business and IT alignment. • Bachelor's degree in Business,Business Technology Management,Information Systems, Engineering,Computer Science, Mathematics,or a related field, withdemonstratedability to bridge business and technology domains. • Strong executive and board-level communication and analysis skills. • Passionate about modern technology and their applications in the business world • An analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to break down complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and develop actionable recommendations. • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments, with the ability to interpret business needs and translate them into clear requirements and solutions. • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work collaboratively in team settings, and deliver high-qualityoutputsunder tight timelines. • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize data and insights into compelling narratives for business audiences. • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including experience building dashboards, business cases, and executive-level reports. • Proficiency in utilizing AI tools (e.g., generative AI, automation platforms, data analysis tools) to enhance productivity and insights development is considered a strong asset. • Continuous learner mindset, with a passion for upskilling in digital tools, methodologies, and industry trends. • Ability to elicit, document, and validate business and functional requirements, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment with business goals. • Familiarity with project management methodologies (such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall), including the ability to plan, track, and report on project progress, risks, and deliverables. • Understanding offinancial concepts relevant to technology investments, such as budgeting, cost-benefit analysis, ROI calculation, and business case development. • Ability to design and facilitate workshops, brainstorming sessions, and design thinking exercises to drive innovation and stakeholder alignment. • Ability to think strategically about technology's role in business transformation and contribute to the development of long-term technology roadmaps. • Familiarity with IT
