Solution Architect Data-Driven Grid Control

Solution Architect We ARE Renewables is looking for a Solution Architect for one of our clients in the energy sector in the Netherlands As a Solution Architect, you are responsible for the architecture and realization of solutions within the Data-Driven Grid Control domain. You work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Information Analysts, Product Owners, development teams, management teams, and fellow architects. Tasks and Responsibilities • Translating business needs into future-proof solution architectures. • Designing end-to-end solutions for sensors, IoT assets, and measurement chains. • Analyzing the impact on applications, integrations, data sources, OT platforms, and processes. • Developing solution designs, architecture products, and implementation roadmaps. • Monitoring architectural principles, security guidelines, and technical quality. • Advising on network architectures and the security of sensors and field equipment. • Collaborating with Business Analysts and Technical Information Analysts during the development of new asset products. • Guiding development and management teams during implementation and commissioning. • Validating that solutions meet functional, technical, and operational requirements. • Actively managing the realization and adoption of solutions within a complex organization Key Requirements • HBO or WO working and thinking level. • At least several years of experience as a Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, or similar architecture role. • Experience within complex enterprise environments. • Knowledge of system integration, APIs, messaging, data flows, and application landscapes. • Experience with IT and OT integration. • Knowledge of on-premises infrastructures and hybrid environments. • Experience with security issues, network architectures, and the security of IoT and sensor chains. • Strong analytical skills and the ability to reduce complex issues to workable solutions. • Experience with stakeholder management at various levels. • Good communication skills and persuasiveness.
