Job Description
Role Overview As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will provide senior technical leadership and hands-on delivery expertise across Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This is a senior vendor role supporting enterprise and strategic customers across the Nordics.
You will partner closely with CSAMs, Global Delivery CSAs, architects, engineers, analysts, and customer stakeholders to design, implement, secure, and optimize end-to-end data and analytics solutions.
The role requires strong Power BI capability together with practical Fabric data engineering and analytics engineering skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Microsoft Fabric & Data Engineering Act as a senior technical authority for Microsoft Fabric and Power BI across end-to-end data and analytics scenarios. Design and implement Fabric solutions using OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, notebooks, and semantic models.
Ingest, transform, and orchestrate data from cloud, on-premises, structured, semi-structured, and streaming sources. Use SQL and PySpark for data preparation and transformation; use KQL where real-time analytics scenarios require it.
Design scalable data architectures, loading patterns, medallion-style data layers, and reusable governed data products. Implement and optimize Fabric workloads for performance, reliability, monitoring, security, and cost-effective capacity usage.
Apply source control, deployment pipelines, CI/CD practices, and development lifecycle controls for analytics solutions. Advise customers on migration and modernization from existing Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and related analytics environments to Microsoft Fabric.
Key Responsibilities
- Power BI & Analytics Engineering Design and implement enterprise Power BI solutions, including semantic models, DAX measures, reports, dashboards, and reusable datasets. Prepare and enrich data for analysis
