Senior Account Manager (Technical Products)

Job Title: Senior Account Manager (AI & Automation Advisory)
Location: Remote (South Africa or Eastern Europe) | Hours: US Hours
About the Client
The client is a rapidly scaling product and services firm helping middle-market companies find and implement high-impact AI opportunities. Their clients work with them on an ongoing basis to continuously identify value-add areas, e.g., workflow automation to reduce operational bottlenecks, analytics to inform growth strategy.
As the client grows their client base, they are looking for a highly organized, client-obsessed Account Manager who can build trust with client stakeholders while collaborating effectively with internal technical teams.
What You Will Do
• Own Client Relationships: Serve as the main point of contact for a portfolio of ongoing clients. Build deep trust with middle-market C-suite executives and stakeholders, and gracefully handle everything from daily update emails to difficult conversations, e.g., delayed project, bugs.
• Drive Account Growth: Actively identify new opportunities within existing accounts to add value, expand scope, and grow business.
• Bridge Strategy & Technology: Translate complex client needs into actionable problem statements. Work directly with the client's internal engineering team to solve technical issues and unblock deliverables.
• Maintain Timeline, Process & Systems: Own client roadmap and timelines, holding internal team accountable and functioning 2 steps ahead, e.g., you see the delay before the client does and have an action plan in place. Keep client records, project updates, and internal documentation immaculate.
• Navigate Ambiguity: Solve complex, unstructured client challenges by collaborating internally to produce clear, structured solutions. Who We Are Looking For
• 3–5+ years in B2B Account Management, Client Success, or Consulting (experience in agency, SaaS, or tech consulting environment preferred). Mid-market experience a bonus.
• High EQ & Cultural Nuance: Exceptional spoken and written English with the ability to communicate effortlessly with US executives. Present as a skilled and reliable partner to Executives, not an overly structured and junior account rep.
• Moderately Tech Savvy: You don’t need to write code, but you must be comfortable reasoning about modern API capabilities, software workflows, and automation concepts (or be interested and quick to learn).
• Organized & Systems-Oriented: A structured thinker who thrives on process, project tracking, and keeping all administrative plates spinning.
• Comfortable in US Hours: Available to work overlapping hours with US business teams and clients.
