DevSecOps Engineer

Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on DevSecOps Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment, security, and operation of modern application and infrastructure environments.

The role will work closely with development, operations, security, and project teams to build secure CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, manage containerised environments, and integrate security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle.

The successful candidate should have practical experience with DevOps technologies, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, cloud environments, Linux, containers, and security hardening.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with development, operations, security, and project teams within a DevOps and Agile environment. Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration, continuous deployment, and automated testing.

Develop DevOps strategies, processes, and toolsets based on application and project requirements. Build, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available application environments. Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational activities.

Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and AWS CloudFormation. Build and maintain container image pipelines and containerised application environments. Deploy and manage workloads using Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift.

Automate security hardening across development, testing, deployment, and production environments. Implement security configurations based on recognised industry standards such as CIS benchmarks. Integrate security practices and controls into CI/CD and software delivery processes.

Configure and maintain development, testing, deployment, and delivery environments. Develop scripts and automation for system monitoring, service health checks, deployment, and operational tasks. Perform day-to-day monitoring, deployment, backup, troubleshooting, and mainten
