SAP SD Consultant

Job Role: SAP SD Consultant Experience: 5+ Years Location: Chennai About the Role: We are looking for an experienced SAP SD Consultant to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) , with a solid understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash processes and the ability to work closely with business and technical teams. Key Responsibilities: • Implement, configure, and support SAP SD solutions based on business requirements. • Handle end-to-end Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes, including sales orders, deliveries, billing, and invoicing. • Configure SAP SD modules covering Sales, Shipping, Billing, Pricing, and Output Management . • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions. • Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP teams for custom developments. • Perform configuration, testing, issue resolution, and production support. • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues related to SAP SD processes. • Work on integration with SAP MM, FI, and other relevant modules . • Participate in requirement gathering, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support. • Prepare functional documentation, test scenarios, and user guides. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and provide expert functional guidance. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline. • 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP SD. • Strong knowledge of SAP SD configuration and business processes . • Good understanding of Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes. • Experience with Sales Order, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, and Shipping processes. • Strong integration knowledge with SAP MM and SAP FI . • Experience in requirement gathering, functional testing, documentation, and production support. • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide effective SAP solutions. • Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills. Preferred / Good to Have: • Experience in SAP S/4HANA . • Exposure to SAP Fiori and modern SAP processes. • Experience in implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects. • Knowledge of interfaces, IDocs, EDI, and integration scenarios. • SAP SD certification will be an added advantage.
