Product Manager (Merchant Experience) - Hosted Checkout / Mobile SDKs / APIs - Fintech / BFSI / Payments - Mumbai About the Company: They are a leading, premier FinTech and Payment Solutions enterprise driving digital payment infrastructure at a massive scale. About the Role: They are looking for a customer-centric Product Manager Merchant Experience to drive the strategy, roadmap, and execution of our merchant-facing payment products. In this role, you will be responsible for building intuitive, scalable, and secure payment experiences that simplify payment acceptance for merchants while maximizing transaction success and customer conversion. You will work closely with Engineering, Design, Business, Compliance, and Customer Success teams to deliver seamless payment experiences across Hosted Checkout, Mobile SDKs, APIs, and other merchant touchpoints. Key Responsibilities: 1. Product Strategy & Roadmap: - Define and execute the product vision and roadmap for merchant-facing payment solutions (Hosted Checkout, Payment Links, APIs, SDKs). Continuous optimization of merchant onboarding, payment conversion, and transaction success rates. 2. Product Development & Execution: - Own the complete product lifecycle from ideation through launch. Create PRDs, user stories, wireframes, and functional specifications while partnering with cross-functional teams for timely delivery. 3. Merchant Experience & UX: - Drive intuitive consumer and merchant payment experiences. Conduct usability testing and user journey mapping to minimize checkout friction and maximize completion rates. 4. Product Analytics: - Define and monitor critical KPIs including Payment Success Rate, Checkout Conversion Rate, and Merchant Activation/Adoption. Perform funnel analysis, A/B testing, and experimentation to drive data-backed improvements. 5. Compliance & Governance: - Ensure all merchant interfaces align perfectly with PCI-DSS standards, RBI guidelines, and internal risk policies. Required Qualifications: - Education: MBA from an IIM / Tier-1 Graduate Business School paired with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology (BE/BTech). - Experience: 3-5 years of core Product Management experience in Payment Aggregation, Banking, or Fintech. - Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of UPI, Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, settlements, refunds, and the merchant lifecycle. - Technical Skills: Experience defining APIs, SDKs, and leveraging product analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Analytics). - Soft Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and data-driven problem-solving mindset.
