Senior DevOps Engineer

What You'll Bring: Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure using Terraform to ensure scalable, secure, and highly available solutions in GCP. • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring smooth and reliable application deployments. • Manage GCP resources and services, including Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), and Cloud SQL. • Monitor system health, performance, and security, using cloud-native tools and third-party solutions. • Collaborate with development teams to support and improve software delivery processes and DevOps best practices. • Automate repetitive tasks and enhance system efficiency through scripting and configuration management. • Ensure compliance with security and governance standards in cloud infrastructure. Impact You'll Make: Required Skills and Experience: • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or a related role. • Proficiency with Terraform, including module development, remote state management, and best practices. • Extensive experience with Jenkins, including pipeline-as-code (Jenkinsfile), plugin management, and integration with version control systems (Git). • Strong working knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and architecture. • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OTEL). • Proficient in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, etc.). • Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud governance. Preferred Qualifications: • GCP Professional DevOps Engineer or other relevant certifications. • Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, or Puppet). • Knowledge of other CI/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus. • Experience in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
