Technical Business Analyst Your new company Wollongong | Contract Opportunity An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to join a major transformation program focused on improving the governance, lifecycle management and strategic oversight of enterprise technology environments. Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between operational stakeholders and ICT teams. Rather than delivering new technology solutions, you'll focus on understanding existing systems, assessing their condition and capability, and helping shape a sustainable approach to technology governance across the organisation. Your new role Key Responsibilities • Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand current systems, capabilities and dependencies. • Document technology lifecycles, standards, policies and governance frameworks. • Analyse fragmented technology environments and identify opportunities to improve consistency, oversight and risk management. • Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions across both business and ICT teams. • Support the development of enterprise-wide technology policies, standards and roadmaps. • Work closely with project and delivery teams to ensure governance objectives align with business outcomes. • Balance technology compliance, security and privacy requirements with operational needs. What you'll need to succeed • Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst in complex enterprise environments. • Strong ability to translate between technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Experience with technology governance, enterprise systems, application lifecycles or ICT operating models. • Skilled in business process mapping, requirements elicitation and stakeholder management. • Strong understanding of data, privacy, risk and compliance considerations. • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
