Job Description

Role Summary: Responsible for serving as the liaison between business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software. Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs and defines business application software requirements to address complex business needs. Develops project plans, coordinates resources, and works closely with programming staff to ensure requirements are incorporated into system design and testing. Acts as a resource to users, provides guidance, resolves issues, and may serve as a subject matter expert for the team. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams. - Analyze complex business needs and translate them into functional requirements. - Define and document business application software requirements. - Develop project plans and coordinate cross-functional resources. - Partner with development and testing teams throughout the SDLC. - Support system design, testing, implementation, and user acceptance activities. - Provide operational support and resolve user questions and issues. - Lead requirement workshops and stakeholder discussions. - Provide direction and mentoring to team members as required. - Drive process improvement and operational excellence initiatives. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) and a minimum of 5 plus years of Business Analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. Desirable to have BA and or Healthcare certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, AIHMA, AHM 250 etc). Domain and Background: - Knowledge of systems capabilities, software development lifecycle processes, healthcare operations, and business operations is strongly preferred. Work Schedule: - Flexible to support U.S. business hours (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST / 5:30 AM - 2:30 AM IST)
