Director of Scheduling - Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend is looking for a Director- Scheduling to lead scheduling services on key client accounts. This individual will not only be responsible for the delivery of successful scheduling services but also will assist in growing services with new and existing clients.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation and management of detailed, resource-loaded schedules for multiple construction projects, ensuring timelines are realistic and achievable.

Collaborate with project managers, contractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop comprehensive project schedules, including milestones, deliverables, and critical paths. Establish baseline schedules and track project progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).

Ensure effective communication and coordination of scheduling between various teams (design, engineering, procurement, and construction). Monitor and analyze schedule performance, proactively identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to stay on track.

Prepare and present regular schedule updates and reports to senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders. Identify potential risks related to project scheduling and develop strategies to mitigate delays, resource constraints, and other scheduling-related issues.

Facilitate schedule-related problem-solving sessions to resolve conflicts and minimize disruptions. Lead and mentor a team of schedulers, providing guidance and support for career development and skill enhancement. Foster a collaborative and results-driven team environment.

Oversee the performance and professional growth of the scheduling team, ensuring high levels of expertise and competency. Establish best practices and standardized processes for scheduling across all projects.

Continuously review and improve scheduling methods and tools, keeping up with industry trends and technological advancements. Drive innovation in project planning and scheduling strategies to improve efficiency and accuracy. Serve as the primary point of c
