Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role: QA Automation Engineer / Software Test Engineer. Experience: 3 - 8 Years. Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Pune / Hyderabad / Kolkata. Must-Have Skills: - 4+ years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering with strong Functional, Integration and Regression Testing experience. - Strong hands-on experience in Playwright automation, including framework development, scripting and debugging from scratch. - Hands-on experience with REST Assured API automation, including contract, authentication and error-handling validation. - Experience testing .NET / .NET Core back-end applications and Angular front-end applications. - Strong SQL skills with the ability to independently write joins, aggregations and validation queries. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps, including integrating automation suites, analyzing pipeline failures and resolving issues. - Ability to work within an existing client framework and follow established coding standards. - Strong practice of maintaining execution logs, screenshots, reports and failure artefacts. - Strong written English communication and ability to work closely with onsite leads and client teams. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience with platform / database migration testing, particularly baseline-and-compare validation. - Exposure to AWS services such as RDS, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway and CloudWatch. - Experience with AI-assisted coding / testing tools such as Kiro, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code or GenAI-based test generation. - Exposure to Tosca or other commercial testing tools, particularly in migration / off-loading projects. - Exposure to Performance, Accessibility or Resilience Testing.
