Job Description

About MTechZilla MTechZilla is a web, mobile app, AI app, and cloud app development agency based in India, serving as an offshore engineering partner for US and EU companies. We work with US and EU engineering teams through three flexible engagement models - staff augmentation, team augmentation and software development outsourcing. Our clients are CTOs, VPs of Engineering and Directors of Engineering at 50 to 500-employee tech companies. About the Role MTechZilla is an offshore software development studio. Our buyers are founders, CTOs, and technical decision-makers in the US and Europe — people who evaluate us on credibility signals long before they get on a call. Our social presence and our sales material are usually the first things they see. We're hiring a Graphic Designer to own that visual layer. This is an in-house brand role, not client work. You'll be designing for one brand — ours — across social and marketing collateral. The upside of that focus is depth: you'll build and refine a system over time instead of restarting on a new brand every few weeks. Key Responsibilities - What you'll do Social creative (primary) • Design ongoing creative for LinkedIn, X, and Instagram — carousels, single-image posts, quote cards, announcement graphics, case study snippets • Adapt one message across platform formats without it feeling copy-pasted • Maintain and evolve the social design system so output stays consistent at volume Marketing and sales collateral (primary) • Pitch decks, one-pagers, case studies, whitepapers, proposal templates • Campaign assets, ad creative, email graphics • Event and conference material when needed Brand stewardship • Extend and enforce the MTechZilla brand system — typography, color, grid, iconography, imagery style • Flag where the system is breaking down and propose fixes • Keep source files organized and reusable so the next asset takes less time than the last Motion (future scope) • As our content needs grow, we expect basic motion graphics to become part of this role — animated social posts and short explainer pieces. Not required on day one, valued if you have it. Requirements Craft • Strong command of Adobe Photoshop — compositing, masking, retouching, color, non-destructive workflows • Working proficiency in Adobe Illustrator • Genuine fluency across visual design languages — you can articulate the difference between Swiss/International Style, editorial, brutalist, and modern SaaS minimalism, and choose the right register for the brief • Typography and layout fundamentals: hierarchy, grid, optical spacing, type pairing B2B market understanding • Demonstrated understanding of how B2B tech brands present themselves to US and European audiences — what reads as credible to a technical buyer, and what reads as cheap or off-market • You understand that our design has a commercial job: it exists to make a prospect trust us and take the next step • Awareness of accessibility and contrast standards (WCAG AA) as a baseline AI tooling • Practical prompting skill with generative image tools — Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Photoshop Generative Fill, Nano Banana, Flux, or equivalent • Critically: you use AI as a production accelerator, not as a style. We want work where the generative tooling is invisible until you point it out — not output that looks like every other AI portfolio Ways of working • Speed with consistency — you turn a brief into a first draft fast, and your fifth deliverable of the week is as strong as your first • Full ownership of tasks and deadlines. You track your own commitments, raise risks early, and don't need to be chased for a due date • Clear written English — most of our coordination is async and text-based Nice-to-haves • Basic motion graphics capability • Video editing and basic sound design • Prior in-house experience at a B2B SaaS, agency, or dev studio marketing to Western clients • Understanding of how design decisions affect engagement and conversion metrics Benefits • Competitive fixed salary, based on experience. • Performance-based bonus. • Annual appraisal cycle • PF (Provident Fund) and other statutory benefits • Paid time off • Paid Sick leave and casual leave • Public holidays • Flexible working hours • Access to premium Design tools.
