Job Description
Role Overview:
As Program Manager, you will own the connective tissue between our Global Sourcing, Business Development, and Logistics & Supply Chain teams. You will be the single point of accountability for unblocking cross-functional issues, driving down landed cost through smarter carrier and shipping tariff decisions, cutting delivery delays, and turning ad-hoc firefighting into repeatable process.
It is a high-visibility, high-ownership role for someone who is equally comfortable inside a dataset and in a room full of stakeholders who disagree.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the central coordination point between Global Sourcing, Business Development, and Logistics & Supply Chain teams driving alignment on priorities, timelines, and trade-offs.
- Own end-to-end resolution of operational escalations shipment holds, documentation gaps, vendor disputes, order-to-delivery breakdowns and drive them to closure with clear ownership and deadlines.
- Run structured governance: weekly operating reviews, program dashboards, risk/issue logs, and crisp status reporting to leadership.
- Translate commercial commitments made by the Business Development team into executable supply chain plans, and surface risks early rather than after they materialise.
- Build and own dashboards and reporting for freight spend, delivery performance, and program health; convert raw operational data into decisions leadership can act on.
- Run data-driven diagnostics on supply chain bottlenecks and quantify the business impact of proposed changes before they are made.
- Standardise and document SOPs across sourcing, logistics, and order fulfilment and drive genuine adoption across teams.
- Identify and implement automation and system improvements (ERP, TMS, reporting workflows) that reduce manual effort and error rates.
Must-Have Requirements:
- 3 - 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Program Management, with meaningful time spent in a program or project management capacity.
- Hands-on experience in export and import operations international shipping, INCOTERMS, customs documentation, and cross-border compliance. This is non-negotiable.
- Strong analytical capability within the supply chain domain advanced Excel plus working proficiency in at least one of SQL, Power BI, or Tableau; able to build freight-spend and performance dashboards from scratch.
- Demonstrated delivery of cost savings in transportation, freight, or logistics, with quantifiable outcomes you can walk us through.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple functions and influence without direct authority; strong stakeholder management with sourcing, commercial, and operations teams.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and logistics / transport management platforms.
- Structured problem-solving, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to hold multiple stakeholders to timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline. MBA or a supply chain certification (CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma) is an advantage.
- Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate, and available to join immediately or at short notice.
