About the Role We're looking for a Manager, Payroll & Shared Services to lead payroll operations, shared services, compliance, and process transformation across the region. What You'll do - 1. Lead end-to-end payroll operations across multiple countries (preferably in UAE, KSA & India), ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payroll processing, including payroll inputs, salary revisions, incentives, final settlements, payroll accounting, reconciliations, and statutory remittances. - 2. Ensure compliance with country-specific labor laws, payroll regulations, employee taxation, social security, pensions, gratuity, and statutory reporting requirements, while managing payroll audits and governance. - 3. Oversee India payroll taxation, including monthly TDS computation, tax declarations, proof validation, annual tax reconciliation, Form 16, Form 12BA, and employee tax support. - 4. Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, including onboarding, employment contracts, contract renewals, promotions, transfers, salary revisions, organizational changes, and offboarding while ensuring compliance with company policies and local labor laws. - 5. Lead HR Shared Services operations by ensuring timely execution of HR transactions, maintaining employee records, HRMS data integrity, organizational structures, reporting lines, cost centers, and master data governance. - 6. Drive payroll and HR transformation initiatives through process standardization, automation, HRMS enhancements, workflow optimization, and implementation of best practices to improve operational efficiency and employee experience. - 7. Develop, implement, and continuously improve payroll and shared services policies, SOPs, SLAs, governance frameworks, and internal controls to ensure operational excellence and audit readiness. - 8. Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, Legal, Procurement, Technology, and business leaders to support organizational restructuring, workforce planning, compensation changes, compliance, and strategic business initiatives. - 9. Manage relationships with payroll vendors, compliance consultants, auditors, banking partners, and HR technology providers to ensure high-quality service delivery and effective stakeholder management. - 10. Prepare and present executive dashboards, payroll metrics, headcount reports, compliance updates, payroll cost analysis, and operational insights to support strategic decision-making. - 11. Lead, mentor, and develop the Payroll & Shared Services team by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centric service delivery. What you'll need - 1. 8 - 10 years of experience in Payroll, Shared Services, HR Operations, or a related function, including significant experience managing multi-country payroll. - 2. Strong expertise in India payroll, employee taxation, statutory compliance, PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, gratuity, and labour laws. - 3. Experience managing payroll operations across GCC countries and other international markets. - 4. Proven experience in HR shared services, employee lifecycle management, contract administration, and HR operations. - 5. Proven experience managing payroll vendors, compliance consultants, and third-party service providers. - 6. Excellent stakeholder management, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead large-scale operational and transformation initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
