As a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to pioneering digital transformation.
You will play a crucial role in accelerating the migration of Markets applications from traditional data centres to private cloud environments, shaping the future of resilient, scalable banking solutions.
Your main responsibilities: Accelerate the migration of applications to the private cloud using standardized platforms, automation, and best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement resilient, high-performance solutions that enhance reliability and operational efficiency.
Automate manual, repetitive tasks across provisioning, deployment, and support to streamline processes and increase automation coverage. Develop proactive capacity planning models to ensure scalability and performance, addressing future demands ahead of time.
Drive improvements by analyzing operational metrics, refining SLIs/SLOs, and reducing incident recurrence through root cause analysis. Promote continuous delivery standards to minimize release-related incidents and support agile deployment pipelines.
Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance troubleshooting, scripting, monitoring, and documentation practices. Lead and support training initiatives to ensure team skills remain aligned with evolving cloud and automation technologies.
You're ideal for this role if you have: Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud migration projects. Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Rundeck.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes migration, monitoring, and observability tools like OTEL, Elastic, Grafana, and Kibana. Knowledge of networking, proxies, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and middleware technologies including Kafka, Solace, IBM MQ, and NGINX.
Practical scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation workflows. Broad experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, storage, security, and operating systems (Linux RHEL, Windows, Azure, etc.) It is a strong plus if you also have: Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
Experience applying AI tools like GitHub Copilot to operational workflows. Languages required for the role: Fluent English (spoken and written).
