Our client is a leading mid-tier Professional Services/Accounting Firm, centrally located in Melbourne's CBD, with lovely corporate offices and a down to earth, friendly team. The Role
Your title will be Administration & Executive Support Lead but you'll wear many hats in this hands-on, leadership role. Your main responsibility will be to take ownership of the firms administration function, ensuring the administration processes that support a busy accounting firm are compliant, efficient and operating smoothly. Oversee the administrative support and front-of-house teams to ensure a smooth workflow and evenly shared workload, all the while creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Managing the administration procedures firm wide (including updating processes, documenting procedures and streamlining systems)
• Up-skilling the administration team to ensure consistency of procedures and smooth delivery of support to audit and advisory teams etc
• Managing workloads and service standards across the team
• Driving efficiencies and identifying opportunities to improve the way the administration function operates
• Working closely with the CEO, Partners and senior stakeholders across the firm
• Overseeing facilities, suppliers and broader office requirements About You
This is a key role, integral to the success of the broader teams firm wide. The successful candidate must have proven experience within an accounting practice to understand the accounting-specific operational rhythms and client service workflows. This is a hands-on role suited to an experienced Administration/Office/Operations/Practice Manager who loves processes and procedures, but equally loves working with teams and building relationships. And it goes without saying that your strong communication and natural leadership skills, together with your willingness to pitch-in, will really come to the fore as you liaise with the CEO, the Partners and wider group of stakeholders.
