Senior Accountant, Private Enterprise Audit

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading public accounting and advisory firm. This individual will support a portfolio of private and mid-market clients by conducting audit and review engagements, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing trusted advisory services.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with public accounting experience who enjoys building client relationships while mentoring junior team members.

Conduct audit and review engagements for a variety of clients Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements Evaluate audit evidence and assess account balances, revenues, expenses, and assets Review and investigate discrepancies within financial records and reports Perform client walkthroughs related to AP, AR, payroll, and fixed assets Prepare working papers, reports, presentations, and client deliverables Establish and maintain charts of accounts and journal entries Build relationships with clients while supporting and mentoring junior staff Assist with inventory counts and support new client onboarding Participate in business development and identify opportunities for additional services We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
