The Opportunity: Transfer Pricing & Customs Associate
As a Transfer Pricing & Customs Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Driven by curiosity, you are a reliable, contributing member of a team. In our fast-paced environment, you are expected to adapt to working with a variety of clients and team members, each presenting varying challenges and scope. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
•
Detailed analyses of financial statements for our clients, and for comparables Assist in data collection, both from our clients and publicly available information
•
Drafting deliverables, including PowerPoint, memos, and detailed reports
•
Keep up to date with technology, and make suggestions for process improvements
•
Data research using both publicly accessible and firm-specific databases
•
Follow risk management and compliance procedures
•
Keep up to date with developments in area of specialism
•
Invite and give in the moment feedback in a constructive manner
•
Share and collaborate effectively with others
•
Identify and make suggestions for improvements when problems and/or opportunities arise
•
Build and maintain an internal and external network
•
Seek opportunities to learn about how PwC works as a global network of firms
•
Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:
•
Business Administration, Finance or Economics related degrees. A graduate degree is considered an asset.
•
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work
•
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
•
Strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate new ideas
•
Ability to manipulate public databases and PwC proprietary benchmarking tools, as well as robust skills using software applications including Excel, PowerBI, Alteryx, etc.
•
You should be conscientious, self-motivated, and be able to assume responsibility for various aspects of a project within a team framework
•
Ability to easily adapt and prioritize, demonstrating project management skills to handle changing priorities
•
A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside and/or coaching diverse people and perspectives
•
