Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our academic team full-time.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching English from Primary 2 to Secondary 4, supporting students in developing strong foundations in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and communication skills.
The teacher should be confident working with students across different age groups and ability levels and be able to deliver engaging, structured, and effective lessons that support both academic improvement and examination preparation.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons for Primary 2 to Secondary 4 students. Teach key areas including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, listening, and speaking. Develop students' ability to communicate accurately and confidently in both written and spoken English.
Prepare students for school assessments and examinations, including upper-primary and secondary-level English examinations. Teach examination techniques, answering strategies, comprehension skills, and structured writing approaches.
Conduct diagnostic assessments, class tests, writing assessments, and mock examinations to identify students' strengths and areas for improvement. Provide clear, constructive, and detailed feedback on students' written and oral work.
Monitor individual student progress and adapt teaching strategies according to different learning needs and ability levels. Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support where required. Prepare appropriate lesson materials, worksheets, exercises, and revision resources.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment results, and students' academic progress. Communicate students' progress and areas for improvement to the academic team when required. Maintain a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment.
