Job Description

Our client is a well-established global logistics and supply chain solutions provider with a strong presence across international markets. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for an Air Freight Pricing & Procurement Manager to join their Commercial team. They are located in the (Central) – easily accessible.

Responsibilities

Develop and manage air freight pricing strategies for ad-hoc quotations, contract rates, and long-term customer agreements. Source and procure competitive air freight rates from carriers and business partners to support commercial objectives.

Negotiate freight rates, space commitments, and service agreements with airlines and logistics partners. Evaluate costing structures and pricing models to enhance profitability and maximize revenue opportunities.

Support business growth initiatives by providing market-competitive pricing solutions for new and existing customers. Lead and coordinate tender submissions, pricing exercises, and customer quotation requests.

Collaborate with commercial teams to formulate pricing proposals that strengthen customer acquisition and retention efforts. Monitor market developments, carrier capacity movements, and freight rate fluctuations to identify business opportunities and risks.

Conduct market benchmarking and competitor analysis to maintain pricing competitiveness. Manage relationships with airlines, strategic partners, and service providers to ensure favorable commercial arrangements. Review capacity utilization and shipment allocations to optimize operational efficiency and cost performance.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders across operations, commercial, and overseas offices to align pricing strategies and execution plans. Maintain pricing records, rate databases, and commercial documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.

Provide support in resolving pricing-related issues, capacity constraints, and customer escalations when required.
