KS1 Teacher West Ealing Full-Time | October 2026 Start | Until July 2027 (Potential to Extend) Inner London Pay Scale: M1-UPS3 A well-regarded 2-form entry primary school in West Ealing is seeking a KS1 Teacher to join their team from October 2026 for the remainder of the academic year, with the potential for the role to extend beyond July 2027. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative school with a strong community feel. The school is looking for a committed teacher who can provide high-quality teaching, build positive relationships with pupils, and contribute to the continued success of the KS1 team. The school is easily accessible via local transport links, including nearby bus routes and the Elizabeth Line. About the School The school offers: • A supportive 2-form entry structure with shared planning and year group collaboration • An experienced and approachable Senior Leadership Team • A positive learning environment with high expectations • Well-resourced classrooms and excellent facilities • A strong focus on pupil progress and wellbeing • A collaborative staff team who work closely together • A diverse and inclusive school community • Good transport links across West London The Role The successful candidate will: • Teach within KS1 from October 2026 • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the National Curriculum • Support pupils' progress in reading, writing, mathematics, and the wider curriculum • Deliver effective phonics teaching and support early reading development • Use assessment to identify next steps and adapt teaching accordingly • Work closely with colleagues across the phase • Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff Requirements The school is looking for a teacher who: • Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) • Has experience teaching within KS1 • Has a secure understanding of phonics and early reading • Has strong classroom management skills • Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement • Works effectively as part of a team • Is committed to supporting every pupil to make progress Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and strong ECTs with relevant KS1 experience.
